Project Overview.
A custom WordPress publishing portal was created for Samuhik Pahal, emphasizing user experience, performance, security, and SEO readiness. Previously, Samuhik Pahal’s content was only available as PDF documents on the Issuu platform. Despite allowing users to read the articles, the platform offered a subpar user experience. The Samuhik Pahal team aspired to have their own digital platform.
We gained a deep understanding of their articles and proposed an engaging content structure. We then designed intuitive and accessible wireframes and UI. The website passed the Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) with only three minor vulnerabilities and received approval for launch from Wipro’s security team. Since its launch, we have been maintaining the website to ensure top performance and security.

The Samuhik Pahal, a journal by Wipro Foundation, was initially available only as a PDF on Issuu, which limited the user experience due to the lack of search, categorization, and intuitive navigation features. To address these challenges, the Wipro team partnered with us to design, develop, and manage a multilingual web portal in English and Hindi. Furthermore, they preferred to have an option to switch the languages on both portals to engage the regional audience. Given their limited experience in publishing portal development, they were particularly meticulous about the deliverables, primarily focusing on finding a team that could understand their vision and deliver the right solutions. Their key requirements were a well-defined UX strategy, sleek and intuitive UI design, robust web development, and ongoing website maintenance, ensuring a smooth, user-friendly, and scalable digital experience that enhances both the accessibility and impact of the Samuhik Pahal Journey.

Solution.
Transitioning Samuhik Pahal from static PDF documents to a dynamic digital platform posed several challenges. The shift required meticulous planning, content reformatting, and a well-thought-out user experience strategy to ensure a smooth transition. We proposed an effective content architecture and designed an intuitive UI to engage users. Additionally, we had to ensure a seamless transition for the existing audience on the Issuu platform, taking into account their behavior and goals. Furthermore, we maintained consistent communication with the Samuhik Pahal team to explain the logic behind the proposed architecture. Maintaining top performance, security, and design consistency was critical, and our QA team conducted rigorous checks to meet these standards. Content migration was also a challenge, requiring coordinated efforts between the Samuhik Pahal team and our technical team to ensure a smooth and cost-effective process. We developed a multilingual portal in English and Hindi with Google Translate for language switching. The remarkable achievement was passing the VAPT in one go and getting the approval of Wipro’s security team for rolling out.
